Br. Anselm (Michael) Beatty, OSB, is a simply professed monk of Pax + Abbey. He chose the name Anselm for his religious profession in honor of St. Anselm of Canterbury, an 11th-century Italian/French monk who is considered one of the leading intellectual figures of the medieval church (that's more an aspiration on Br. Anselm's part!) 

Br. Anselm is the Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of St. Sampson of Christ's Apostolic Catholic Church. His hobbies are reading and writing.
